01 / ABOUT THE PLACE
About this place
Teppanyaki Ei opens its set menus with marbled raw beef sashimi, whose gentle sweetness meets garlic soy sauce to set an inviting tone for the griddle dishes ahead. Found on the 1th floor of the MIYABI Building in Takenotsuka, this warm dining room serves structured courses running from light small bites and appetizers to fish and prime cuts. Fresh seasonal fish sourced directly from the market, colourful dressed salads, and fragrant warm vegetables arrive at an easy rhythm, allowing each ingredient to stand out on its own terms.
Fragrant Steaks and Thoughtful Upgrades
For the main course, diners can select between tender fillet and richly flavoured, juicy sirloin steak. Certain courses allow additions such as teppan-grilled abalone or swapping the beef for foie gras over daikon radish to mark a special occasion. Following the steak, a small rice bowl, miso soup, and Japanese pickles round out the meal; upgrading to fragrant garlic rice offers an even more robust finish.
A Calm Setting for an Evening Out
Dessert platters and coffee conclude the meal, extending the relaxed tempo of the evening. Counter seats overlook the grill alongside table seating, suited for unhurried dinners accompanied by wine or beer. The restaurant operates from 18:00 until 0:00 late at night (closed Mondays). Evening reservations are recommended.
